Who we are

The address of your website is: https://dana.positivevoice.gr.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data that appears on the comment form as well as the visitor’s IP address and browser user string to help detect spam.

An anonymized string generated from your email address (also called a “hash”) may be provided to Gravatar to see if you use it. The Gravatar privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After your comment is approved, your profile picture is visible to the public within the context of your comment.

Multimedia

If you are uploading images to the site, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors to the site can download and extract any location data from images on the site.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site, you can choose to have your name, email address and website saved in cookies. This is for your convenience, so that you don’t have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for a year.

If you have an account and log in to the site, we will create a temporary cookie to determine whether your browser accepts cookies. The cookie does not contain any personal information and will be deleted once you close your browser.

When you sign in, we will also create several cookies to store your login information and screen options. Login cookies last for two days and screen options cookies last for one year. If you select “Remember me”, your connection will remain active for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be stored in your browser. This cookie does not contain any personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you have just edited. It expires after 1 day.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this website may contain embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in exactly the same way as if the visitor had visited the other website.

These sites may collect data about you, use cookies, incorporate additional third-party tracking, and track your interaction with this included content, including tracking your interaction with the included content if you have an account and are logged in to that site.

Who we share your data with

If you have requested a password reset, the IP address will be included in the reset email.

For how long we keep your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are kept indefinitely. This is so that we can automatically recognize and approve the comments that follow, instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users who register on our website, we also store the personal data they enter in their user profile. All users can view, edit or delete their personal data at any time (except that they can change their username). The administrators of this website may also view and process this information.

What rights you have to your data

If you have an account on this website or have left comments, you can request to receive an extracted record of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we delete the personal data we keep about you. This does not include data that we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal or security reasons.

Where your data is sent

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam system.
